The South Carolina Patrons Foundation (SCTPF) has been improving the lives of South Carolinians through tennis since 1984. We are committed to helping people, and the sport, flourish across the Palmetto State. Through grants, scholarship, and charitable work the foundation has had an amazing impact on tennis in South Carolina.

Overview

We assist the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame through its fundraising. We support incoming college freshmen with our scholarships as well as junior players and youth program with annual grants. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and support of various fundraisers.

Hall of Fame

The South Carolina Tennis Patrons Foundation was originally founded to support the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame, located in Belton. It is considered one of the best facilities of its type in the country. Every year we induct two new members into the Hall of Fame. You can find a portrait of each inductee can be found in the Hall of Fame.

Scholarships

There are four $2,000 scholarships that may be awarded to graduating high school seniors as they enter their freshmen year of college. These scholarships are awarded based on five key selection criteria. For more information please read our scholarship policy.

Junior Player Grants

The foundation offers financial aid on a limited basis, primarily on need, for junior players. Grants of $150-$1,000 per player per year are awarded for tennis related expenses. For more information, and to apply, please click here.

Youth Program Grants

We offer grants to facilitate programs that increase access to tennis for children, including (but not limited to) children who are “at risk” in South Carolina. Grants can be awarded two years in a row. For more information on grants available please click here.
